Hike to Lynn Peak /
I hiked to the summit of Lynn Peak on Saturday and took pictures along the way. I think there's a lot more hiking in my future and, hopefully, a dramatic improvement in my ability to photograph the natural world. The combination of a Nikon D600 body and Sigma 35 mm/f1.4 lens (1.28 kg; 2.82 lb) is a little too heavy to serve as my preferred setup for these hikes -- especially when more than 1,000 m of climbing are involved.
